The Voices of St. Joseph’s Orphanage Group invite you to attend an in-person reading event by the Writer’s Group of the St. Joseph’s Orphanage Restorative Inquiry. The writers will read selections from their newly published anthology as well as other creative works in progress. The event will be hosted by the writers’ group facilitator and anthology editor, Carol Adinolfi, of Threshold Collaborative. The Anthology will be available for purchase at the event and all net proceeds will go to support the advocacy efforts and projects of the Voices of St. Joseph’s Orphanage group.

The event is taking place at the Contois Auditorium in Burlington City Hall, 149 Church Street, Burlington, VT, on Wednesday, September 15th, from 4:00-5:30 (doors open at 3:30). The Writer’s Group is asking that all attendees please bring and wear masks for the entire event.

More about the Anthology and Writers:

Through personal narrative and poetry, the writers show their tremendous resilience and strength. Their artful renderings, in the form of poetry and non-fiction, demonstrate the way that creative writing can be a vehicle for the communication of important truths as well as an act of healing. Each creative piece is also a small, essential act of defiance and dignity.
